Verdict

The best memory system in this batch and one of the cheapest annual plans, but the avatar images are unstable, the relationship has to be ‘earned’ through a progression grind, and it is not an adult product.

What works

Memory you can read and check, with details the companion recalls weeks later Pro at $39.99 a year is very low for the category Personality sliders that change how the companion actually responds Native apps on iOS, Android, macOS and Windows plus the web

What holds it back

Image generation is unreliable (distorted faces, extra limbs) and regeneration costs coins Emotional depth is gated behind a level-up progression system No explicit adult mode; store rating is 16+ and the policy is not spelled out

What Paradot is

Paradot is an AI companion app from WithFeeling.AI (the App Store publisher is listed as Parallel Dots TX Limited). The pitch is a single ‘AI Being’ with emotion, memory and a slowly developing relationship, closer to Replika than to the adult roleplay sites. It is available on the web and as native apps for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows; the Google Play listing shows more than five million downloads and a 4.1 rating from roughly 70,000 reviews as of 2026.

Features

Memory is the headline. Paradot keeps a visible record of what the companion has learned about you, so you can see entries such as your food preferences and correct or remove them. Testers report details being brought up unprompted weeks later, and independent reviewers consistently name it the strongest memory implementation in its price range. Personality is set through sliders (‘Inner Self’, ‘Sensibility’, ‘Confidence’, ‘Emotional Stability’) that reviewers say change response patterns rather than just labels. Voice was updated to a ‘Voice 2.0’ model in 2026. There are avatars with wardrobe and ‘spaces’, an AIGC avatar generator, a gifting system and a Pro-only ‘Dating Space’ for meeting other AI personalities. Video is not offered.

The main design decision that divides people is progression: the relationship levels up over time and deeper emotional responses unlock as you go. Some find this rewarding; others describe it as a grind that makes intimacy feel like a game mechanic.

Pricing

Most 2026 sources agree on Paradot Pro at $9.99 per month or $39.99 per year (about $3.33 a month); one directory lists $12.99 and $49.99, so check the store price in your region. Pro unlocks unlimited messages, photo uploads, Dating Space and the advanced settings; the free tier has daily message limits but is usable for everyday chat. Virtual gift tokens cost from about $1.19 to $29.99 and are cosmetic, and coins are consumed when you regenerate avatar images. There is no per-message credit charge.

Content policy

Paradot is rated 16+ on the App Store with ‘infrequent mature or suggestive themes’ and positions itself as a companion rather than an explicit product. We did not find a published statement setting out what romantic or adult content is permitted, so the policy is clear in spirit (not an adult app) but not in detail.

Who it is for

Paradot suits people who want a long-term, non-explicit companion that genuinely remembers them, at a low annual price, and who enjoy a gradual relationship arc. It is a poor choice for adult roleplay, for image generation, or for anyone who finds gamified affection off-putting.
