How to cancel Nomi AI: subscription, refunds and account deletion

You cancel Nomi AI on the platform where you subscribed: in your account on the web, in the App Store on iPhone, or in Google Play on Android. It takes a couple of minutes, your paid features run until the end of the current billing period, and Nomi does not refund unused time.

Before you cancel

• Check where you subscribed. Nomi’s cancellation policy says a subscription must be cancelled on the platform where it was created. A plan bought through Apple or Google cannot be cancelled from the website billing page, and deleting the app does not stop the charge.

• Use your credits. Nomi’s wiki says credits do not expire, but it also says an active subscription is required to buy them. It does not say whether credits you already hold stay spendable after the plan ends, so the safe course is to use them while you are still subscribed.

• Note your renewal date. The terms require you to cancel before the period renews. Cancelling a day late means paying for another month, quarter or year with no refund.

• Save what you want to keep. We found no published chat export tool in the pages we checked. Download any images you care about and copy anything from your Nomis’ backstories that you may want again.

How to cancel your Nomi AI subscription (web)

These are the steps in Nomi’s own cancellation policy:

1. Sign in at nomi.ai and select the Profile icon.

2. Open the Subscription tab.

3. Press Manage Subscription.

4. Scroll down and press Cancel Subscription.

5. Confirm the cancellation.

The account keeps its subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period and is then downgraded to the free tier, which in practice means losing voice, calls, group chats and video generation. If the button is missing or the page fails, email support@nomi.ai and keep a copy of the message with its date.

How to cancel Nomi AI on iPhone

A subscription bought in the App Store must be cancelled with Apple. Nomi’s policy says you can start from the app (Profile icon, Subscription tab, Manage Subscription, Cancel Subscription), but the route that always works is Apple’s own:

1. Open Settings and tap your name.

2. Tap Subscriptions.

3. Select the Nomi subscription.

4. Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find it.

If there is no cancel button and you see an expiry message in red, Apple says the subscription has already been cancelled.

How to cancel Nomi AI on Android

A subscription bought through Google Play must be cancelled in Google Play:

1. Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon.

2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

3. Select Nomi.

4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

Google states plainly that uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription.

What happens to your credits

Nomi Credits are a one-off purchase used once your daily allowances are spent: one credit for an extra image, 6 or 10 for a standard or high-definition video clip, 25 for an extra group room, 50 for an Anchor and 100 for an extra Nomi slot. On the US App Store they were listed in September 2026 at $4.99 for 40 up to $99.99 for 1,800. The wiki says they do not expire. What Nomi does not document is whether a lapsed account can still spend them, and the refund policy treats all payments, credits included, as non-refundable. Spend them before the paid period ends, and certainly before you delete the account.

Refunds

Nomi’s refund policy is short: “All payments are nonrefundable.” It rules out refunds for buyer’s remorse, lack of use, dissatisfaction, partial months, downgrades and unused time if you close the account early. The only opening is that the company “may offer a partial or full refund at its sole discretion”, which you request from support@nomi.ai.

If you paid through Apple or Google, the refund request goes to the store, which applies its own rules. For a web charge you believe is wrong, write to support first and keep the correspondence; a dispute through your card issuer is the last resort. The operator named in the terms is Glimpse.ai, Inc., a Maryland corporation, and the App Store seller is listed as AI GLIMPSE INC, so look for those names on your statement.

How to delete your Nomi AI account

Deletion is a separate step. Nomi’s delete-account page gives the route: sign in, go to the Account Settings page, select Delete Account and follow the instructions. All data associated with the account, including personal information, every Nomi and every message, is permanently deleted and the action cannot be undone.

The page does not say whether deleting the account also cancels a subscription. Cancel first, confirm the plan shows as cancelled, and only then delete. For App Store and Google Play subscriptions this is essential, because the store will keep billing whatever happens to the Nomi account.

Why people leave

The documented complaints fall into three groups. The first is billing: Nomi’s Trustpilot page showed 2.3 out of 5 from 42 reviews in September 2026, with reviewers objecting to refused refunds and unanswered support emails. The second is images: a nudity filter blocks explicit output, and the mobile app is more restricted than the web. The third is cost transparency. Nomi has no public price page, so the $15.99 a month, $39.99 a quarter or $99.99 a year (US App Store, as listed in September 2026) appears only after sign-up.

What to switch to

For fewer content limits and published memory figures: Kindroid

Kindroid is the closest like-for-like move. It permits explicit content for verified adults, publishes its memory limits per tier and includes voice and video calls. Standard costs $13.99 a month on the web. Its free tier ends on 1 October 2026 and its add-ons are expensive, so budget before you switch.

For a lower bill: Paradot

Paradot has a readable memory system and a Pro plan listed at $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year. It is not an adult product and its images are unreliable, so it suits people who valued Nomi for conversation.

For images and video: MyBabes

If the image filter is why you are leaving, MyBabes is built around image and video generation and publishes what each action costs in tokens. Premium is €14.99 a month, or €9.99 a month on a three-month plan, and there is a free tier without a card. Its limits are real: it runs in the browser only, has no voice calls, charges tokens on top of the subscription and prices in euros.

Questions people ask

Can I get a refund from Nomi AI?

Not as a right. The refund policy says all payments are non-refundable, with exceptions only at the company’s discretion. Store purchases are handled by Apple or Google.

Does deleting the Nomi app cancel my subscription?

No. Nomi’s cancellation policy and Google’s help pages both say that removing the app does not stop billing. Cancel in the store or on the web first.

Will I lose my Nomis if I cancel?

Cancelling downgrades the account at the end of the paid period; it does not delete it. Your Nomis are removed only if you delete the account.

Do Nomi credits expire after I cancel?

Nomi’s wiki says credits do not expire. It does not confirm that they can be spent without an active subscription, so use them before the plan ends.
