What Swipey AI is

Swipey AI is a browser-based adult companion platform run by INVAI LTD, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus (registration HE 458964). It describes itself as an AI girlfriend platform, and it is built less like a chat app and more like a mobile game wrapped around a social feed: you discover characters in a vertical, TikTok-style feed of AI-generated photos and videos, open a chat with the ones you like, and then spend a currency called Hearts on voice calls, longer video scenes, live “Duels” and creator content. The company says its team comes from mobile gaming, and it shows in the daily rewards, quests, prize wheel and relationship levels. There is no native app: Swipey runs in any modern browser on desktop, iOS and Android, with an install prompt for adding it to the home screen. The interface is offered in six languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese). Premium costs $7.99 a month on the pricing page, which is low for this category, but most of the media sits behind Hearts whose prices are only shown after sign-up.

Chat and roleplay

Swipey offers three kinds of companion. Platform Models are characters made by the Swipey team; Verified Creator Models are AI versions of real adult creators, built from their own photos and voice under a likeness agreement; and Custom AI is the character you design yourself in the Create AI builder. The builder asks for a realistic or anime style, age, ethnicity, body, hair and eyes, one of seven personalities (each with its own “spice level”), an occupation, a voice and a starting scenario. Custom characters are private to your account and never appear in the public feed.

Chat is described as uncensored for adults within legal limits, and the help centre says the companion “won’t suddenly refuse a spicy conversation”. Stories can start from a chosen location and scenario or from free-form roleplay, and group chats exist. Swipey does not say which language model powers the chat, and independent write-ups describe the conversation as competent rather than deep, suited to short browse-and-chat sessions more than a single long relationship. A relationship bar sits on top of every chat and grows as you talk; on your own Custom AI, the help centre says certain kinks unlock as the level rises. The number of levels is not consistent across Swipey’s own pages: the home and pricing pages say 15 levels “from Teasing to Ultimate”, while the official facts site says 10 levels “from Stranger to Soulmate”. Each level-up drops a reward video. Free accounts can chat with Platform and Creator models; chatting with a Custom AI requires Premium.

Memory

Swipey markets a Premium feature called Memories: the companion stores facts, preferences and moments you share, and the help centre says she brings them up “even days or weeks later”. You can see and delete individual memories, and they are kept per chat, never shared across companions or users. After a voice call, a Call Memory card is saved in the chat with the duration, a full transcript and any media sent during the call, which is a useful record. What Swipey does not publish is any measure of capacity: there are no context sizes, no count of stored memories and no explanation of how memories are chosen, so there is no way to compare it with apps that document these figures. Resetting a chat clears its history but keeps the relationship level. When Premium lapses, a Custom AI chat stays readable for seven days and then locks, with history kept until you resubscribe.

Models and technology

Swipey names none of its underlying models for text, images, video or voice. The terms describe a three-layer moderation system: a blocklist that rejects prohibited terms at submission, a model-level refusal and re-check before output is delivered, and quarantine of flagged items for review by compliance staff. The privacy policy adds that a content moderation filter “based on our proprietary LLM technology” reads conversations for rule breaches. Users cannot upload their own images or media; every visible picture and video is generated by Swipey’s systems, which removes one common route to deepfake abuse. Verified Creator Models are trained on material supplied by the creators themselves under a separate AI Twin Likeness Agreement and Creator Onboarding Policy.

Images, video and voice

Media is Swipey’s main draw. Images can be requested in chat (“send me a photo of you at the beach”) or made in a standalone generator with realistic and anime styles, and Swipey says each character profile keeps the face and body consistent between renders. NSFW image generation requires Premium. Video is handled as “scenes”: you ask in chat and receive a short clip that can be extended step by step from 5 to 10, 20, 30 and finally 60 seconds, each extension costing Hearts, with a discounted “Full Show” button for Premium users that jumps to the complete scene. A “Make me move” button animates a photo the character has sent. The help centre says newer videos include sound with lip-sync, still rolling out, so older clips may be silent. Voice comes as voice messages in chat (included with Premium) and real-time voice calls billed per minute in Hearts; calls are in English only, and the per-minute rate is shown once before your first call rather than on any public page. On entering a chat, a feature called Undress Me greets you with welcome photos and videos instead of text.

Beyond chat: what else it does

Much of Swipey is entertainment around the companions rather than conversation with them. Duels pit two AI characters against each other over five rounds; viewers send paid gifts to back one, and the winner of each round performs next. Live Now and Play With Me are simulated “live” sessions you direct with taps, paid per action in Hearts. Fanclubs, attached to Verified Creator Models, are paid collections of exclusive image and video sets; Premium includes one Fanclub, and more can be added at extra cost. A daily rewards streak, daily and permanent quests, account levels and a prize wheel hand out free Hearts, and a Refer-a-Friend scheme adds more. Creators can apply to have an AI twin built and earn from subscriptions, tips, pay-to-view and unlocks. This is a lot of mechanics designed to keep you returning and spending, and it is worth recognising that before you buy Hearts.

The free tier, honestly

Swipey can be tried without a card: sign up with an email, verify it and you receive 20 free Hearts. The pricing page says the free tier covers building a character, browsing the gallery and feed, and “basic chat” with platform characters, and calls it “intentionally limited”. How limited is unclear. The terms of service (effective 1 August 2026) say a new account may exchange “up to five (10) messages” before a subscription is needed, a clause that contradicts itself and the help pages, which describe free chat with Platform and Creator models without a stated cap. The official facts site also says the Explorer feed needs Premium, while the home page invites free users to browse it. Treat the free tier as a short preview, not a lasting free plan, and expect to hit a paywall quickly if you want NSFW chat, images, a Custom AI or calls.

Platforms and apps

There is no App Store or Google Play app. Swipey is a web app that works in mobile and desktop browsers, can be added to a phone’s home screen, and syncs chats, Hearts and companions across devices. Login uses a magic link sent by email, so there is no password. Swipey warns that look-alike sites use its name and are not operated by INVAI LTD; the company lists only one official address. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard and, according to the pricing page, the cryptocurrencies BTC, ETH, USDC and LTC, with options varying by region. Billing appears under a neutral merchant name.

Support, cancellation and refunds

Support runs by email and through a Discord server, which Swipey describes as available around the clock, plus a help centre with about 75 short articles. Cancelling is self-service under Settings, Subscription, and Premium stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are where the documents disagree. The terms state that “all purchases are final and non-refundable” except where the law requires otherwise, and that EU and UK users waive the 14-day withdrawal right once digital content is supplied. The help centre, by contrast, says refund requests are reviewed “case by case” by a person, and names accidental purchases, duplicate charges and unused subscriptions as worth raising. In practice, assume no refund unless one of those situations applies, and ask support before disputing a charge. Purchased Hearts do not expire while the account is open but are lost if you delete it.

Who it is for

Swipey suits adults who want a cheap, browser-only entry into NSFW companions with an emphasis on visual content: consistent images, extendable video scenes with sound, and live-style Duels and creator Fanclubs. The low $7.99 monthly price and no-app design make it easy to try. It suits less well anyone looking for a deep, long-running companion with transparent memory, anyone who dislikes game mechanics such as streaks and prize wheels, and anyone who wants to know the real cost before paying, because Hearts prices and per-minute call rates are hidden until you are inside. Readers who care about content governance should also note the gap between the terms, which ban youth-themed content, and a home page that still uses a “Teen” tag on adult characters.
