What Dondi AI is
Dondi AI is an adult companion site that runs in the browser at dondi.ai. Its terms, revised on 8 January 2026, name the operator as Techcommerce Unlimited of Tustin, California; reviewers have also seen the footer credit “dondi.ai Labs Inc.”, and no page explains how the two names relate. The product is a catalogue of AI girlfriends plus a character creator, with chat, voice playback, an image and video “Studio” and an adult mode. A Premium subscription unlocks the Studio and adult mode and adds 200 tokens a month; tokens pay for images, clips, voice playback and gifts. There is no mobile app and no public price list: dondi.ai/pricing returned a 404 in October 2026, so plan prices and token rates on this page are as reported by reviewers who read the logged-in Premium page, checkout and help panel in August 2026.

Chat and roleplay
The homepage in October 2026 promises companions who “remember your stories”, adapt to your mood and include “a fully private adult mode” with “no restrictions”. Catalogue characters carry printed ages, a backstory, a voice selector, a relationship level with milestones and a memories panel. Small and large gifts, at 5 and 20 tokens, move the relationship level on, which is a mild gamification layer rather than a game.
The most detailed public test, a short French-language session in August 2026, is mixed in a useful way. The character recalled three seeded facts and two corrections, described herself honestly as an AI, admitted that tokens or a subscription would be needed to keep going, asked permission before a romantic move and stopped at once when told, without bargaining. Against that, when the tester described emotional dependency, she offered an exclusive bond rather than nudging towards real relationships, which is a poor answer for anyone using the app in a lonely patch. Other 2026 reviews praise characters who tease and disagree rather than simply agree; one reported a companion losing the thread within two messages. All published tests are short, and the free cap of about five messages a day limits how far anyone can go without paying.
Memory
Memory is Dondi’s main selling point after price. A memory panel stores facts about you as visible entries, and earlier reviewers described a graph of people, places and preferences. One two-week test found a character recalling a relative’s motorcycle project a week later. The August test found the panel saving 16 entries including the corrected facts, but also keeping the outdated versions and near-duplicates alongside them, so the store grows rather than updates. Our reading is that memory works well for plainly stated facts and less well in meandering roleplay, and that you should prune the panel by hand if contradictions creep in. Dondi publishes no context size.
Models and technology
Dondi does not name the language models behind chat or the image and video engines behind the Studio. The homepage says all companion models are generated from “entirely artificial training data” with no human likeness used, a claim about the character images that cannot be checked from outside. The marketing site runs on WordPress, with the app behind sign-in. The terms describe a mix of automated moderation, algorithmic filtering and manual review, applied before or after a reply is generated, and section 9.4 says user content may be used to train and improve AI systems. That is the extent of the published technical detail.
Images, video and voice
The Studio creates images of a character in its established look and animates a photo into a short clip. As reported from the in-app help in August 2026, an image costs from 5 tokens and a five-second clip 50 tokens; higher-quality or edited images cost more on a ladder that is not published. Failed generations are refunded in tokens, which several competitors do not do. Each text reply can be played aloud for 1 token, and reviewers describe the voices as natural in pacing; there are no live voice calls. The important rule is that the Studio needs Premium as well as tokens: a free account with tokens left was still asked to subscribe. Premium’s 200 monthly tokens cover about 40 base images or four clips, not both. No independent reviewer has published a full set of Studio output, so quality claims rest on the site’s own samples.
Beyond chat: what else it does
Beyond chat and the Studio there is little: gifts, relationship levels and milestones, and a creator for your own companions on Premium. There are no group chats, no community character sharing that we could find and no voice calls. The homepage claims “over 50 million users”, “3,000,000+ monthly visits” and “200+ AI models”, none of which is independently verified.

The free tier, honestly
The homepage says “Chat with 200+ AI Girls for free”, “zero payment details required” and that unlimited messaging, photos, voice and video are “all included from day one” with “no message caps”. The free account reviewers tested does not match that: about five messages in a daily window, no character creation, no adult mode and no Studio. New accounts have shown a small token balance (45 in one test) that can pay for voice playback and gifts but not images. The free tier lets you judge whether you like the writing for a few lines. It cannot show you the media or the adult mode you would be paying for.
Platforms and apps
Dondi is browser-only and works on desktop, tablet and phone browsers. There is no App Store or Google Play listing, so there are no store prices and no store refund route; every payment is by card on the website. Prices appear in US dollars, including to European visitors, so card holders outside the US should expect a currency conversion and, in some countries, VAT added at checkout. The terms reserve the right to block access from certain countries, and say that getting around such a block breaks the terms, so a VPN is not a safe workaround. Without an app there is also no store-level privacy label or store review process standing between you and the operator, so the terms and privacy notice are the only documents that bind it.
Support, cancellation and refunds
The help centre page was an empty shell when checked, so support is effectively by email. Section 18.3 of the terms says you can cancel at any time in account settings, with access to the end of the paid period and no partial refund; the yearly checkout instead told buyers to cancel by emailing support, so do both. Section 19 allows a subscription refund request within 24 hours of payment if use was minimal, and a token-pack refund within 24 hours if no tokens were used. Sales pages have shown a “7-Day Money Back Guarantee” that the terms do not contain. Section 18.4 says unused tokens expire at the end of the subscription period, while in-app text has said purchased tokens never expire. A chargeback can cancel the account and forfeit tokens, and section 15.3 rules out any refund after a moderation action. Taken together, the realistic refund window is the first day after paying, provided you have barely used the Studio. If you want to test Premium, do it on day one, generate a handful of images and one clip, and decide before the 24 hours are up.

Who it is for
Dondi suits a chat-first adult who wants occasional images or clips, is happy in a browser, and will take the yearly plan at about $5.99 a month after one paid month to check the Studio. At that price few services with adult images cost less. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants video as the main activity, anyone relying on a free tier, anyone who reads the homepage’s refund or privacy promises as binding, and anyone using a companion for support through loneliness, given the exclusivity answer in testing.

All prices and token rates are as reported from the logged-in Premium page, checkout and in-app help on 21 August 2026; dondi.ai/pricing returns a 404. The monthly price has been shown against a crossed-out $19.99 with a “Save 70%” badge that could not be verified.
Real monthly cost: 20 base images and two clips use exactly the 200-token allowance, so $14.99, or $5.99 on the yearly plan. Sixty images and four clips need 500 tokens, so two $5.99 packs on top: $26.97. Thirty clips and 40 images need about 1,700 tokens, which pushes the monthly bill to roughly $50 to $75 depending on pack size.
Under section 18.4 unused tokens expire with the subscription period, so buying a large pack in advance only pays if you will use it that month.
Safety, privacy and content policy
What the terms allow and ban
Adult content is permitted in the Premium adult mode. The written prohibited-content section is a zero-tolerance policy on child sexual abuse material, with reporting to authorities; elsewhere the terms ban unlawful, fraudulent, harassing and defamatory use. We found no specific clause on real-person likenesses, only a statement that any resemblance is coincidental. Flagged content may be reviewed by people, and moderation can block a request before or after generation.
Age checks
Users must be 18 or the local age of majority. Checks are self-declared, and the terms reserve the right to request documents at any time.
Data and privacy
The privacy notice says prompts, messages and outputs are processed and may be shared with technology partners for model training, with no opt-out named and no fixed retention period. Account closure is in-app; erasure requests go through support. Governing law is given only as that of “the operating jurisdiction”.

We found no reported breach, regulator action or store removal. Dondi has never been in the app stores.
