AI companion apps with the best image generation

The broadest creative toolkit in the category: eight named video engines with published per-second prices, two image model lines, a story studio, AI-refereed roleplay games and a creator paywall. Browser only, no voice calls, and the token maths take a minute.

The most complete media stack in the category, chat, voice, images, 120-second Live Action video and Story Mode, but the subscription is only the entry fee. Tokens for anything visual push real spend well past the headline price.

The most transparent power-user companion: published memory limits, a new Polaris model, explicit content for verified adults. The free tier ends on 1 October 2026; expect a stacked bill and credit meters.

A strong explicit image and clip generator, and plainly not a companion: no chat, memory or voice. Fine style control and clips up to 18 seconds, but video starts at $60 a month and refunds are rare.

Strong character building and solid image generation at a low annual price, but long-term memory, video and voice chat sit on the $34.99 Ultimate tier and advanced models and memory bill extra credits per message.

A capable adult studio where one character runs through chat, images, short clips and Live Cam. Media is the draw; memory is thin, prices hide behind sign-up, chips run out fast and refunds are close to non-existent.

Spicier AI is Lovescape under another name, run by the same Cyprus company. Media generation is the strength and Premium prices are visible, but chips, self-declared age checks and dated terms carry over unchanged.

Capable character builder and good stills, but the pricing is the story: intro prices roughly double to quadruple at renewal, 100 tokens a month runs out fast, and refunds are ruled out.

Capable chat and a broad media toolkit at a low annual price, but the Neuron credit system charges on top of Premium for adult messages, photos and videos, and the credit maths is hard to follow.

The most media-generous companion here: paid plans include unlimited core images, video and Live Rooms, plus strong age checks. Prices are hidden until sign-up, the chat is weaker than the media, and files vanish after 72 hours.

A broad all-rounder with images, calls and short video and no renewal price jump, let down by thin memory and a token layer whose costs are not published before you sign in.

A capable adult chat with voice calls and a printed XOT rate card. The catch: €24.99 a month buys only 1,000 XOT, every payment is final, and the homepage’s encryption claim sits badly with terms that log everything.

Pleasant short chat and cheap per-item media, with a yearly plan near $6 a month. The catch: a five-message free tier, a 24-hour refund rule the marketing overstates, and a “zero-log” homepage the terms contradict.

A large character roster and a genuinely usable free tier, undermined by flat voice, patchy replies and a Stars credit system that testers say can drain on unrequested videos.

Decent character-consistent images and a simple builder, but conversation is shallow, voice is robotic, the free tier is a short sampler, and Luna tokens meter every image on top of a $19.95 monthly fee.

A capable explicit image and short-video generator with a large community gallery; the chat is an add-on with little memory, and the useful video and voice features sit behind the $33.99 Pro tier.

Good-looking characters and images, but you cannot chat without paying, the $19.99 subscription still meters every photo, voice line and call in coins, and its Trustpilot record is poor.

A long-running realistic and anime generator with solid editing, face swap and 15-second video. Chat is an afterthought, the free tier is blurred, adult rules contradict the product, and refunds are near impossible.
