MyBabes vs OurDream AI: roleplay, memory, video and pricing compared

OurDream AI and MyBabes both sell an all-in-one companion: chat, voice, images and video behind a subscription with a monthly media allowance. The similarity ends there. OurDream is a chat platform that added media; its strength is conversation that holds together over long scenarios. MyBabes is a generation platform that includes chat; its strength is producing images and video predictably. Which one suits you depends on which of those you would miss more.

Chat, memory and roleplay depth

OurDream’s chat runs on a DeepSeek-V3-based model and its memory is the feature users praise most consistently: characters recall earlier events, maintain a scenario over many sessions and are less prone to drifting back to generic flirtation. It is closer to a roleplay engine than a chatbot. The company claims a very large library of characters (it quotes figures in the millions, which we have not verified), and the breadth of pre-built scenarios is real. MyBabes offers uncensored chat with long-term memory and a Story maker for structured scenes, and it is perfectly serviceable, but if you judge a companion app by the quality of a two-hour conversation, OurDream is the better product. This is the clearest win in the comparison.

Images

Both generate in realistic and anime styles. MyBabes publishes a flat rate of one token per image at up to 2K resolution and ties images to a persistent face via its Visual Identity Anchor. OurDream gates images behind DreamCoins; 1,000 coins a month is a reasonable allowance for images alone. Neither has an obvious quality advantage on paper, so we score it a draw and suggest trying both with the same character description.

Video

This is where the two diverge sharply. OurDream offers short video, but the two most common complaints from its users are that video consumes coins very quickly and that the results are inconsistent: some clips are good, others are not, and you pay either way. MyBabes is built around video. It lets you choose between Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5 and WAN 2.7 (including an NSFW-tuned variant), supports up to 1080p/2K as standard and 4K on Seedance 2.0, and tells you the cost before you generate: roughly 3 to 5 tokens per second, so 15 to 25 tokens for a five-second clip. On Premium that is 20 to 30 clips a month from the included allowance. Knowing the engine, the resolution and the price is what “reliability” means in practice, and MyBabes wins this category comfortably.

Voice

OurDream includes voice calling with a choice of around 19 voices. MyBabes has voice output but no calling. If you want to speak to a character rather than type, OurDream is the one to pick.

Mobile

Neither has a native app; both are web apps that work in a phone browser. OurDream’s chat-centric interface translates somewhat better to a small screen than MyBabes’s generation tools, but the difference is marginal and we would not choose between them on this basis.

Pricing and free tier

OurDream costs $19.99 a month on a rolling basis, or $119.88 for a year (equivalent to $9.99 a month). Both include unlimited messages and 1,000 DreamCoins a month; the annual plan adds a one-off bonus of 1,000 coins. There is no free tier, only a trial, so you cannot use it at length without paying.

MyBabes Premium is €14.99 a month, or €9.99 a month on a three-month plan (€29.97), with 500 tokens; Ultra is €34.99, or €23.33 a month quarterly (€69.97), with 900 tokens. Token packs run from 100 for €9.99 to 1,200 for €54.99. The free tier gives daily credits with no card required.

On a rolling monthly basis MyBabes Premium is cheaper than OurDream. On an annual commitment OurDream is cheaper per month and comes with a larger media allowance, provided you are content to pay a year up front. The two allowances are not directly comparable because the platforms price actions differently, and OurDream users report that video eats coins fast, so the honest answer is that a chat-and-images user gets more from OurDream’s annual plan and a video user gets more from MyBabes at any term.

Content policy

Both are adult platforms with an 18+ requirement. MyBabes is explicit that its chat is uncensored and that its NSFW video engine is tuned for adult content; OurDream permits adult chat and images with some limits on what its media models will produce. Both prohibit any content resembling minors.
