MyBabes uses the two-layer pricing that has become standard among AI companion apps: a monthly subscription that unlocks unlimited chat and a monthly token allowance, plus optional token packs for people who generate more images or video than the allowance covers. The structure is common; what is less common is that MyBabes publishes the token cost of each action, which makes it possible to do the sums before you pay. This guide does those sums.

All prices are displayed in euros. The three-month plans are billed up front and work out at roughly a third off the monthly rate. The free tier needs no card and refreshes with a small daily credit allowance, which is enough to try the chat and generate standard images but not to produce video in any quantity.

For comparison, the 500 tokens bundled with Premium at €14.99 work out at about €0.03 each, and Ultra’s 900 tokens at €34.99 at about €0.039 each. In other words, the subscriptions are the cheapest way to buy tokens; the packs are for topping up, and the larger packs are markedly better value than the smaller ones.

What tokens buy

  • Images: one token per image, at up to 2K resolution.

  • Video: roughly 3 tokens per second on Seedance 2.0 Fast at 480p, rising to about 5 tokens per second on Seedance 2.0 at 720p. A five-second clip therefore costs somewhere between 15 and 25 tokens.

  • Chat: free of tokens on any paid plan.

Put together, the Premium allowance stretches to about 500 images, or 20 to 30 short videos, or a mix. Ultra’s 900 tokens cover about 900 images or roughly 36 to 60 five-second clips.

Token maths: what 500 tokens buys on Premium

Worked example 1: the chat-only user

If you want an uncensored chat companion with long-term memory and will rarely ask for a picture, the token allowance is almost irrelevant. Premium on the three-month plan is the obvious choice: €29.97 per quarter, or €9.99 a month, with unlimited messages and 500 tokens a month that you will barely touch. You could even stay on the free tier for a while, since chat is included there, although the daily credit limit will bite if you use it heavily. There is no reason for a chat-only user to buy Ultra.

Worked example 2: the image user

Say you want a consistent character (MyBabes ties images to a “Visual Identity Anchor” so the face stays the same across generations) and you generate ten or fifteen images a day. That is 300 to 450 images a month, comfortably inside Premium’s 500-token allowance. Monthly cost: €14.99, or €9.99 on the three-month plan. If you drift over 500, a 100-token pack at €9.99 covers another hundred images, but at that point the 200-pack for €15.99 is better value, and if you are routinely over, Ultra at €34.99 for 900 tokens is cheaper per image than Premium plus two packs.

Worked example 3: the video user

Video is where the token meter matters. Assume you make one five-second clip a day at the mid rate of about 20 tokens: that is around 600 tokens a month.

  • Premium alone (500 tokens) falls about 100 tokens short, so you would add a 100-token pack: €14.99 + €9.99 = €24.98, or €19.98 on the three-month Premium plan.

  • Ultra alone (900 tokens) covers it with 300 tokens to spare for images: €34.99, or €23.33 on the three-month plan. For a daily-video habit, Ultra on the quarterly plan is clearly the right buy.

  • Heavy use of three or four clips a day (roughly 2,000 tokens) means Ultra plus a 1,200-token pack: €34.99 + €54.99 = €89.98. That is a lot, and we would not pretend otherwise; video generation is expensive on every platform that offers it, and MyBabes is not the exception.

Choosing the cheaper engine setting (Seedance 2.0 Fast at 480p) cuts the per-clip cost by around 40%, which is the single biggest lever for a video-heavy user.

How it compares with Candy AI and OurDream AI

Candy AI uses the same subscription-plus-tokens model. Its Premium is around €13.99 a month, about €8.99 a month on a three-month plan, and it advertises an annual promotional rate of roughly €3.99 a month. Chat is unlimited, but images, voice and video all draw on tokens that you top up separately, and Candy does not publish per-action costs as clearly, so the sticker price and the real monthly spend can diverge. Candy has only a limited free trial rather than an ongoing free tier.

OurDream AI charges $19.99 a month, or $119.88 a year (equivalent to $9.99 a month), and includes 1,000 “DreamCoins” a month, with a further 1,000 as a one-off bonus on the annual plan. Coins gate images and video, and users commonly report that video burns through them quickly. There is no free tier, only a trial.

On a like-for-like basis, MyBabes Premium costs a little more per month than Candy’s headline price but includes a defined 500-token allowance and a free tier; OurDream’s annual plan is the cheapest route to a large monthly coin balance but requires committing a year up front. Which is best value depends entirely on how much media you generate, which is precisely why the per-action costs above matter.

Practical tips

  1. Start on the free tier and count how many images you actually make in a week before choosing a plan.

  2. If you buy packs at all, buy the 500 or 1,200 size; the 100-pack is the worst value on the site.

  3. Video users should default to Ultra on the three-month plan and the Fast engine setting.

  4. Note that pricing is displayed in EUR only; your card issuer will convert if you pay in another currency.
