How to cancel Kupid AI: weekly billing, refunds and deletion

Desk research: this article is based on the published pricing, help pages and terms of the services named, checked in September 2026. AI Companion Radar takes no money from any app and uses no affiliate links.

Kupid AI is a web service, so the subscription is managed in your account on kupid.ai, or by email to hello@kupid.ai, which is the route its terms of service name. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. If you are on a weekly plan, that period is seven days, so the timing matters more than usual.

Before you cancel

  • Check which billing period you chose. As listed in September 2026, Kupid sells Pro at €12.99 a week or €179 a year and Ultra at €24.99 a week or €299 a year, plus a €777 lifetime option. There is no monthly plan, and the pricing page opens on the Weekly tab. A weekly plan renews every seven days, so cancel at least a day before the next charge.

  • Look for a separate coin renewal. Kupid’s interface has a setting called “Automatic coins renewal”. An independent reviewer reported in August 2026 that a “Coins renew” option was already selected at checkout. Treat it as a second recurring charge and switch it off as well.

  • Save what you want to keep. The text of Kupid’s own cancellation screens says that custom models, custom images, received voice messages and chat history with premium characters “will be deleted in 30 days”. Download images and copy character descriptions first.

  • Spend subscription coins. They expire; see below.

How to cancel your Kupid AI subscription (web)

We could not walk through the cancellation flow with a paid account, so the labels below are taken from the interface text that kupid.ai serves publicly, and the order of the screens may differ from what you see.

  1. Log in at kupid.ai in a browser.

  2. Open the account menu and choose Subscriptions, or open your profile and find My Subscription.

  3. Choose Cancel subscription.

  4. Expect retention offers. The interface text includes a discounted week at 75% off, a free week, a switch from Ultra to Pro and an option to pause the subscription. If you want to leave, decline each one and continue to cancel.

  5. Confirm with Cancel my subscription. The confirmation text reads “Your subscription is cancelled” and states the date until which you keep access.

If you cannot find the option, use the route in the terms: email hello@kupid.ai from the address on your account and ask for the subscription to be cancelled from rebilling. Send it a few days before the renewal and keep the message.

Kupid has no app in the App Store or Google Play, so there is nothing to cancel with Apple or Google. Kupid’s interface text does mention Patreon as a payment route and warns that a Patreon subscription has to be cancelled on Patreon by you; deleting the Kupid account does not do it.

What happens to your credits

Kupid calls its credits Coins. The terms, dated 10 August 2026, say Coins have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash. Coins that come with a plan, a trial, a promotion or a gift expire six months after they are credited, and expired Coins are removed without compensation. Coins bought as a pack do not expire. Coins closest to expiry are spent first. Weekly photo, video and voice quotas belong to the plan and stop when the paid period ends.

Refunds

The terms are blunt: “All sales of digital products are final and non-refundable”, and Kupid says it does not offer refunds, returns or cancellations for subscriptions “accessed or used after purchase”. No refund window is published.

In practice there is a little more room. Replying to a complaint on Trustpilot, Kupid wrote that it refunds users who made a mistake and have not used their tokens, provided they get in touch by chat or at hello@kupid.ai. That is a statement in a review reply, not a term of the contract, so ask quickly and do not rely on it. Other reviewers on the same page, as reported in September 2026, describe refused refunds, including one for a yearly plan requested two hours after purchase.

If a charge arrives after you cancelled and support does not resolve it, a dispute through your card issuer is the remaining option. Kupid’s checkout text says the charge appears on your statement as “Kupid AI”. The operator is SNB Technologies LTD, Kypranoros 13, Nicosia 1061, Cyprus, registration number 447805.

How to delete your Kupid AI account

Deleting is separate from cancelling. Kupid’s interface text describes a Delete Account option in the profile settings, with the wording “If you want to permanently delete this account and all of its data, click the button below” and a Delete My Account button. We could not confirm its exact position on the page. Cancel the subscription first and check that it shows as cancelled before you delete.

The privacy policy, dated 2 May 2023, gives you the right to ask for erasure and says requests are answered within one month. It also says personal information may be stored for six years after you stop using the service, so deleting the account is not the same as every record disappearing at once.

Why people leave

Billing is the main documented complaint. Weekly Ultra at €24.99 comes to about €1,299 over a year, against €299 for the annual plan with the same allowances, and the annual prices are displayed as per-week figures. Kupid’s Trustpilot page, which held 16 reviews and a 2.9 rating in September 2026, includes reports of repeated charges, charges continuing after a downgrade and support that did not answer.

What to switch to

If the billing put you off: OurDream AI

OurDream AI bills monthly or yearly, not weekly: $19.99 a month or $119.88 a year, with 1,000 DreamCoins a month and a published coin price list. It has a free tier. Its video is short and costly in coins.

If you came for voice: Kindroid

Kindroid offers voice and video calls and publishes its memory limits. It costs $13.99 a month on the web, or $11.67 a month billed yearly, with a free tier and apps for iOS and Android. Add-ons stack up and the mobile app is filtered.

If you want video with published prices: MyBabes

MyBabes prints the token cost of each video engine on its pricing page. Premium is €14.99 a month, or €9.99 a month on the three-month plan, with up to 500 tokens; images cost 4 tokens and video starts at 3 tokens a second. Tokens do not expire and the free tier needs no card. The limits are real: it is browser only, has no voice calls, tokens come on top of the subscription and prices are in euros.
